The Colours of the Season

We were loving the sweet tastes of the summer...

And then suddenly, one morning there was a crispness in the air.

The smell of the earth changed.

And a quiet shift has taken place in our days.

We store up the bounty.

And continue to wait in hope.

"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."
~Isaiah 6:3~

We're tucking in with great anticipation, awaiting the arrival of Baby K.
After a long, but very positive appointment with the specialist in London,
we were given the go ahead to deliver in Palmerston. Thank you Lord!
Baby is growing by leaps and bounds and, according to Doc, after
seeing the ultrasound and the size of the baby and amount of
amniotic fluid,"You would never know there was only one kidney."
God is so good.

And so now we fill our days with preparation:
Bounty from the garden for the winter months ahead.
Sending Gracie Jo to SK two days a week.
Crafting and baking for a season of Thanksgiving.
A special visit from my newly engaged brother and his fiance.
And a sweet little babe to meet...

"We wait in hope for the Lord;
He is our help and shield.
In Him our hearts REJOICE,
for we trust in His Holy name."
~Psalm 33:20,21~

What are you thankful for in this season of abundance?
