Friday Favorites

We finally moved the old piano off the porch.
Contrary to the perception of this photo, no
farmers were hurt during this production.

Boys, bocce balls and bliss.
What summer Sunday afternoons are made for.

Moving the piano off the porch inspired me to clean up
the rest of the junk and we're slowly setting up what is
quickly becoming a favorite hangout.

The garden is growing in leaps and bounds with all this heat.
The rainbow swiss chard is just about ready to harvest

The raspberries are ripening.

Gracie spent a few days camping with Oma & Opa.
Coming home equals lots of hugs...and laundry!

While Silas and Levi are having their turn at the campground,
Gracie Jo and I will squeeze in as many girly activities as possible. Although, when we were at Shoppers this morning and I let
Gracie choose any nail polish she wanted, what did she ask for?
John Deere green and yellow!! That's our girl :)

You'll notice lots of 'still life' shots this week...the normal action was temporarily on hold while our sweet Ju-Jube was down for the count. He was pretty sick for a few days, we're still waiting on some test results to see what caused it. It's a bit scary for me when Jude gets sick because our local doctors aren't always familiar enough with his condition to treat him and the stress of not knowing how he will respond to certain illnesses, or their treatments, can be overwhelming. I'm incredibly relieved that our sweet boy seems to be through the worst and will hopefully continue on the road to full recovery. Thank you to everyone who was keeping him, and us, in your prayers! You have no idea how much it means to us. Especially at times like this we are so grateful for the support of our family and friends. And, most of all, to our Heavenly Father, who just continues to carry us through each moment...

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
