Friday Favorites

We went to Levi & Tarin's wedding on Friday.
Farmer Husband cleans up pretty good, eh?
Also, you gotta love the classy fountain ;)

On the way home we stopped at the Hamilton Farmer's Market
to visit a very special friend. We may or may not have loaded up on cream puffs and RHCT coffee while we were there :)

The hollyhocks are blooming.

Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy!
There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God.
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, do not fear;
your God will come"
~Isaiah 35:1-4~

Jude went spreading manure with Daddy today.
Before today the only word he's said regularly is 'Mama'.
He's said 'Dada' and 'Opa' a few times but the only word he really knows and says (all the time) is 'Mama'. Until today that is...
'Tractor' has officially been added to his vocabulary :)

Silas went for his very first sleepover today.
He was SO excited!! I love watching these two together, they're going to have some great adventures together. I just know it!

We pickled our first batch of beets today.
So glad we put a garden in this year!

Oh my word, it's SO HOT!!!
We'll do whatever it takes to stay cool...
even hanging out in an old water trough.
Desperate times call for desperate measures!

This heatwave calls for smoothies at suppertime.
Swiss chard and raspberries from the garden, milk from our girls, some frozen bananas, honey and probiotic and you've got one cool, deeeeelicious treat. YUM!
